This April, join us for the Sanad Spring Retreat at the Smith Center in Umatilla. Nestled among 400 acres of pines and live oaks, this is a space for everyone—young professionals, families, and seekers alike—to breathe freely.

How to Register: 2 Simple Steps

To complete your registration, you must purchase Admission Tickets for every attendee AND one Accommodation selection per family/group/individual.

Step 1: Purchase Admission Tickets (Per Person)

• Regular Admission (13yrs+): Includes full access to all programming, workshops and all hand-cut Halal meals.
• Youth Admission (4-12yrs): Includes age-appropriate activities and full meal plan.
• Infants & Toddlers (0–3yrs): FREE but please register them for an accurate headcount and campsite safety.
  • Note: To maintain an intimate and focused environment, children in this age group must remain under the full supervision of their parents at all times throughout the retreat.

Step 2: Choose Your Accommodation

(Required: One selection per individual or family group)

• Guardians Hotel Suite (Elders 60+) A limited number of on-site hotel rooms are reserved for our elders who require enhanced accessibility and premium comfort.
  • Note: This option is strictly for those aged 60 and older. Age will be verified at booking.
• Private Family Cabin (Groups of 4–9 persons) Enjoy a private cabin for your entire household to stay together.
  • Occupancy Rule: These cabins require a minimum of 4 people.
  • Extended Family: Families of 3 or fewer are encouraged to invite a Mahram relative (such as a grandparent or young cousin) to join their cabin to meet the 4-person minimum.
  • Note: Families who cannot reach the 5-person minimum should select the "Shared Cabin" option.
• Shared Cabin Spot (Individual/Parent-Child) A community-focused stay in gender-split cabins (max 6 people per cabin).
  • Placement: Perfect for individual adults or a parent staying with a child of the same gender.
  • Islamic Etiquette: To observe proper privacy, children must stay in the cabin assigned to their same-gender parent. (e.g., Fathers with sons, Mothers with daughters).
  • Special Request: If you are a parent bringing a child(ren) of the opposite gender, please contact us directly before booking.
