Give Love. Give Light.

Why I’m asking you to join this campaign?

Of all the moments from the blessed life of the Prophet (peace be upon him), I would have loved to sit with him in the retreat of Hira. I imagine making the arduous trip up the Mountain of Light (Jabal al Noor) to join him...just to be still, in his presence, and envision what he hoped for, felt, and thought looking out upon the world, his community, his wife, his children.

How illuminating is the heart of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) that it is able to awaken hearts in his time and our time? In me it has inspired the realization that the world needs love, the world needs light, and that this is why we must strive to preserve both within ourselves and posterity. The life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) shows us how to do so, and this is why hope must spring everlasting as long as his prophetic example and character live on within us. But, they will only live within us when they receive what all living things need to survive — love and light. They are qualities that are in themselves a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Who benefits from the work of the Foundation?

In its simplest form, the work of the Foundation is to preserve love so that illuminated hearts can enlighten the world until our last days. Sanad Trust does this by creating a one-of-a-kind learning model that does not compromise academic expectations, excellence, or achievement. Nor does it cut off school-aged children from their right to realize their spiritual potential. Sanad Prep is the world's first soul-centered, accredited, blended, full-time, K-12 education center of its kind and has been recognized not only for its academic excellence, but also its healthy social, emotional, and spiritual learning environment. We do this further by serving the entirety of a family and community’s holistic needs offering innovative wellness and community programs that address the mental, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of youth, adults, and elders.

How your support creates a transformational impact?

With your support and God’s Grace, insha’Allah we can do even more. Specifically, we continue to grow our on-the-ground and online services to meet the needs of our families, communities, and the world around us and we can acquire a property to establish a permanent home for the Foundation’s work that will preserve the light of Allah’s Deen and the Love of His Beloved (peace and blessings be upon him) insha’Allah.

We have been on this road for over a decade and there is so much room and need for others to join us, be they children, adults, elders, or travelers coming from other directions. This is what Sanad Trust Foundation is calling you to and the reason we ask for your support. As the world dims and darkens, our collective effort can allow our lamp to still shine bright so that we and others may always find our way. And, perhaps, at the end of our journey, when we look back we may be fortunate to see that we have lit a trodden path for generations to come.
