Building Hearts
Lessons in mortality and the motivation to leave the greatest footprint of good are what led to the formation of Sanad Trust Foundation. We have been shaped by a constellation of concepts from Lewin's ideas of life space, Ghazali's motivation to seek answers, and the legacy of Prophets that exhausted themselves to improve humanity.
There were also critical, tangible events that precipitated the formation of Sanad Trust - a privileged education, world travel that awakened the heart, the unexpected passing of a parent, a teacher's moving question about purpose, and the birth of a child. Altogether, this led to
a conviction that there was a more creative and effective way to educate our children, honor our elders, and strengthen the spiritual well-being of our families.
Rethinking community organization and learning models are long overdue. We can not allow the business of schooling or the bureaucracy of service to get in our ways any longer.
A soul-centered approach to learning and service is the only way we can change the brute nature becoming too common in the human actions of the world today.
